The Board of Directors of the West Bolivar Christian Association would like
to thank the United Way of Cleveland/Bolivar County for their financial
support over the past several years. It is our goal to continue to provide
a safe, educational and Christian environment for our children and this goal
has been possible because of the help of the United Way of Cleveland/Bolivar
County.
With this said we would also like to thank the citizens of Bolivar County
for the wonderful annual donations to the United Way, for your donations are
keeping the West Bolivar Christian Association alive each year. Remember
that the funds donated to the United Way of Cleveland Bolivar County stay in
the Cleveland Bolivar County area.
We would like to make the citizens of Bolivar County aware of how helpful
the United Way has been not only for our association but for all of the
agencies that receive funding each year. It is a true privilege to be on
the list of agencies, and we hold a high regard for all of the people that
work so hard each year to acquire the funds and then distribute them wisely.
The West Bolivar Christian Association’s hours of operation are Monday
through Friday 3:00 to 5:00. We have volunteers present each day to assist
the children with their every need. The money that we receive each year
from United Way is spent on utilities, insurance and what supplies we can
afford. We are proud to say our staff is made up of wonderful volunteers,
and some came from as far away as Canada to support our agency!
We encourage the citizens of Bolivar County to continue to support the
United Way during the 2010 campaign. For agencies like ours it is a true
Blessing from God to receive their financial support each year.
