Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Interstate Baptist Church in Shaw. Burial will follow at the Linn Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Haney will officiate the services.
She was born on September 30, 1957, to Thurston and Myrtle (Coleman) Timbrook in Memphis, Tenn. Theresa was a Memphis, Tenn., native having graduated from Bethel Baptist School in 1976. She attended Shelby State Community College in Memphis. Mrs. Utz moved to Shaw in 1985 and on January 31, 2003, married Jimmy Utz. She was employed by Baxter Laboratory until January of 2010 and attended Interstate Baptist Church.
Mrs. Utz. was preceded in death by her father and sister, Evelyn Lee.
Pallbearers will be Randy Crabtree, Jessie Crabtree, Jimmy Utz Jr., Bobby Foster Jr., Pat Bowen and Sketer Bowen.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Utz Sr. of Shaw; mother, Myrtle Coleman Timbrook of Shaw; son, Ronnie and wife Sarah Tatum of Shaw; sister, Betty Applewhite of Memphis, Tenn.; niece, Betsy Moses of Memphis, Tenn.; nephew, Robert Gore of Memphis, Tenn.; great-nephew, Jeffery Gore of Memphis, Tenn.; step-daughters, Tara Utz, Rachael Foster and Margaret Utz, all of Boyle; step-son, Jimmy Utz Jr of Boyle; and other nieces and nephews.
