Berry Chiropractic Family and Sport Rehabilitation Center, LLC is a new addition to Cleveland.

The office of Dr. S. Neely Berry, D.C., M.S., is located at 110 East End St., Suite B in Cleveland. The clinic’s office hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-noon on Fridays. Berry also welcomes walk-ins.

Although the office is typically closed on Saturdays, Berry said she will take some appointments on Saturday.

“I really want to be available to my patients,” she said. “With the way the economy is now, I understand that people have to work and can’t always come in Monday-Friday for appointments.

“Patient care is first,” said Berry.

Berry received training at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Mo.

“I think what sets me apart is that I am knowledgeable about the sports side of chiropractic,” said Berry. “I look at the spine and joints and the muscles.

“I try to find the out what the problem is and fix the root of the problem so that the patient can remain out of pain longer,” she said.

Berry said when she finished her degree, she interned in Greenwood where she worked with athletes at Mississippi Valley State University.

“I worked with them on strengthening and conditioning, which is a perk I have from having a master’s in sports science,” she said. “I worked primarily with the female athletes that played basketball and volleyball but I began to branch out and work with other athletes as well.

“A lot of the other athletes on campus would come to see when they found out I was working with the ladies,” said Berry.

Berry grew up in Greenville but is familiar with Cleveland and one of its other chiropractic doctors.

“I’m located in the same building as Dr. (Michael) Patterson, who is a very well known chiropractor,” she said. “I have my own business but inside, our offices follow together.

“We use each other a lot,” said Berry. “I use his 40 plus years of experience and knowledge and he uses my new education. So our patients get the very best of both spectrums.

“Two heads are definitely better and we both definitely try to give our patients the very best care,” she said.

Berry said patients looking for chiropractic care do not need a referral from another doctor.

“You don’t need a referral in the state of Mississippi,” she said. “Also I accept several insurances, such as Blue Cross, Medicaid. (Also), I received my acceptance letter to be a Medicare provider.

“I also can take CHIPS and most any other insurances,” said Berry. “If I’m not on your insurance provider’s list, I have no problem applying or trying to get on their list. I don’t mind adding.”

Berry said she has really enjoyed her time in Cleveland.

“I took some of my prerequisites at Delta State,” she said. “I have family in the area and a lot of people from Greenville are moving to the area.

“This is one of the best little Delta cities to live in,” said Berry. “This city has a lot going for it.”
