Mr. and Mrs. James Darrell Malatesta of Cleveland announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Claire, to Jonathan Taylor Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Edward Williams of Shaw.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Malatesta of Shelby and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rutledge of Marks.

She is a graduate of Bayou Academy and Delta State University, where she received a bachelor and master of business administration. While in college, she was a member of Kappa Delta and Mu Alpha Theta. She is the office manager of Johnson Dental Clinic.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Taylor Jr. of Boyle and Dolly Mae Williams of Cleveland.

He is a graduate of Bayou Academy and Delta State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree. He is a conservation associate biologist with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

The couple will exchange vows in a 4 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.

A reception will follow in the parish center.
