Lane Richardson Parker and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Parker, all of Cleveland, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebekah Anne-Marie, to William Matthew Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown of Laurel.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles Richardson and the late Linda Richardson and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Martin, all of Cleveland.

She is a graduate of Cleveland High School and attended Delta State University. She is enrolled at Mississippi Delta Community College in the LPN Program. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cranford, the late James Brown Jr. and the late Margie Tolley, all of Laurel.

He is a 1993 graduate of North East Jones High School and attended Jones County Junior College. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2008 with a BFA in sculpture. He is an art teacher in the Greenville School System.

The couple will exchange vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church Cleveland.

A reception will take place at the church.
