Visitation was held on Monday from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland. Burial followed at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Clarence Edwards officiated the service.
She was born on September 2, 1979, to Marvin and Linda (Therrell) Brown in Odessa, Texas. Ladonna was raised in Memphis, Tenn., where she attended Balmoral Elementary School, Kirby High School and was a graduate of Gateway Christian Academy. She was a doctor's assistant for 12 years at Brookhaven Medical Clinic in Memphis. Ladonna was a member of Park Village Christian Church. She was a loving mother and daughter. She was an animal lover and has nurtured many animals through the years. Her children were her pride and joy. Ladonna enjoyed the outdoors. Her family says she was an amazing woman.
She is survived by her parents, Marvin Brown and Linda Therrell Brown of Cleveland; two daughters, Amanda and Katelyn McCammon of Memphis, Tenn.; sister, Malinda Miller of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Jeff Brown of Louisville, Texas;and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Therrell, Eddie Therrell, Steve McDonald, Chuck Miller, Russell Steadman and Richard Rector.
Cleveland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
