Clara Christine Tucker Kalkbrenner died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Cleveland Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joesph’s Catholic Church in Pine Bluff, Ark., with burial immediately following. Robinson and Sons Funeral Home in Pine Bluff can be contacted for details.

She was born June 1, 1920, to Horace and Pearl Tucker in Pine Bluff, Ark. She married Henry Joseph Kalkbrenner Jr. on October 18, 1941. They had two children, Harry (Sara) Kalkbrenner Sr. and Jo Ellen (William) Kalkbrenner Dohogne, who were raised in Malden, Mo., where Christine worked as a homemaker. In Malden, she was a member of the DeReign Federated Women’s Club.

Christine and Henry eventually returned to Pine Bluff, Ark., where she was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her sister, Catherine; and her brother, Carl.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, as well as four grandchildren, Melanie (Marty) Bray of Cleveland, Karen (Andy) Boyd, Amy Dohogne and Harry Kalkbrenner Jr., as well as five great-grandchildren, Meagan Bray and Trace Bray, both of Cleveland, and Allison and Austin Hoskin and Alexandra Boyd, all of Bartlett, Tenn.
