Possible gang activity reported

The Bolivar County Sheriff’s Department has received numerous calls about several unknown black males stopping vehicles and boxing them in around O’Reily Road and Bishop Road in Boyle.

The unknown black males are wearing bandanas over the faces.

In one incident a weapon was pulled on the victim and it was demanded the victim leave the vehicle. In the other incident they rushed the victim and punched him several times.

Neither victim was injured.

The suspects said to the victims that they would kill them if they reported the incident to the police. One the vehicles, driven by suspects, was described as a red ’90s model vehicle.

The incidents appeared to be a part of gang activity.

If any unknown vehicles approach you, don’t stop and call 911.
