The first fire happened at 6:06 p.m. Friday behind Z-Mart on Martin Luther King Boulevard when an 18-wheeler caught on fire Jackson said.
He said the vehicle was pretty much totaled and took about 30-35 minutes to put out. There were no injuries.
On Saturday, Jackson said there were two more fires.
The first fire reported for the day was at Faurecia at 4:29 p.m. where an electrical motor on a machine caught on fire.
The extent of the damage was contained to the machine itself, Jackson said.
Jackson said the fire lasted a little less than an hour, and there were no injuries.
The next fire was a dumpster fire at 812 North St. on July 12 at 9:13 p.m., Jackson said.
He said the fire lasted about 10-15 minutes, and although the dumpster was damaged, there were no injuries.
