Clevelander arrested for robbery

Xavier Phillips, 28, of Cleveland was arrested Saturday by Cleveland police and charged with allegedly robbing a woman at an ATM.

Cleveland Police Chief Buster Bingham said the robbery took place last month on June 6.

He said a woman was getting money out of a local bank ATM when the man came up behind her and robbed her.

She was not injured in the incident.

Bingham said Phillips’ bond was set for $100,000 but he does not know if he has presented bonded.
