Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at New Morning Starr Church of God in Christ in Cleveland with Elder Walter Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn in Cleveland.
Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2014, from 1-5p.m. at Brinson Funeral Home in Cleveland.
He is survived by wife, Rosie Turner; sons, John Henry Turner Jr. of Rochester, N.Y., Westley Turner of Kansas City, Mich., and Billy Turner of Maywood, Ill.; sisters, Veray Morrow and Lillian Leigh, both of Detroit, Mich., Louise Turner, Jenny V. Turner and Evelyn Turner, all of Cleveland; brothers, Paul Turner of South Bend, Ind., and Marshall Turner of Memphis, Tenn.; and three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
