Friday morning Keep Cleveland Beautiful kicked off with community leaders, Delta State students and many other volunteers from schools and organizations. The group worked from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and cleaned up Kamien's Way, Amzie Moore Park, and Fireman's Park. Volunteers picked up trashed, painted, landscaped areas, and removed graffiti. Keep Cleveland Beautiful is under the umbrella of Keep Mississippi Beautiful and Lisa Cooley of the Cleveland-Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce led the group through Cleveland to make it shine.
