Alma Jones, 92, of Boyle died Monday, February 24, 2014 in Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at New Kingdom M.B. Church in Cleveland with the Rev. Rudolph Seals Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Cleveland under the direction of Brinson Funeral Home of Cleveland.

Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, at the church.

Mrs. Jones was born December 23, 1921, to Sam and Maggie Williams. She worked many years as a nurse’s assistant and was an active member of her church, New Kingdom M.B. Church of Cleveland before her health failed.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sisters, Gennie Harris and Vamper Rodgers; brothers, Sylvester Williams and C.J. Williams; daughters, Vamper Figures, Rachel Harper and Margaree Jones; and sons, Gregory Jones and Danny Jones.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Jones and Jacquelyn Jones-Hampton, both of Boyle, Cynthia Crockett and Vera Richardson, both of Cleveland, Bernice Jones and Dorothy Marshall, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sons, Richard Jones and J.W. Jones Jr., both of Boyle, and Robert Jones of Cleveland; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones and friends.
