On Nov. 1, a new gift shop in Cleveland called The Rustic Nail opened its doors to the public.

The Rustic Nail, which is located at 611 N. Chrisman Ave. in Cleveland, is geared to accommodate all ages and sells a variety of items including novelties, jewelry, wood working, tables, picture frames, scarves, some apparel, rustic accessories, rehabilitated furniture, gift baskets and more, and also offers corporate orders.

All of the items are at a price point that is set to be competitive and affordable, with a lot of the gifts at The Rustic Nail priced under $30, with most of them priced at under $20 according to Beth Kelly, who owns the store along with Ronnie Kelly.

Beth said although there are not many furniture pieces in the store, they will do custom furniture orders, which they will quote a price for to the customer.

Although The Rustic Nail does not currently have any children’s gifts, Beth hopes to have some available in the future.

“We wanted to offer our community something different, where people can get a variety of gifts,” said Beth. “So far we’ve received a lot of good feedback and people love the design of the store.”

Also located at 611 N. Chrisman Ave. is The Nut House, which buys and sells pecans, gifts, cakes, candied pecans and most things associated with pecans.

The Nut House, which is owned by Josh Warrington, will also crack and blow pecans, and offers custom pecan harvesting.

The Nut House is a seasonal business and will be on Chrisman Avenue until the end of January.

After The Nut House moves, Beth hopes to add more apparel and children’s gifts to The Rustic Nail.

The Nut House’s hours of buying and selling pecans is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached by phone at 662-721-6656 for information on custom pecan harvesting.

The Rustic Nail is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and can be reached also be reached by phone at 662-545-4951.
