Holiday accident kills two Clevelanders At least two have died from an accident, which occurred mid-morning on Thursday. According to Tony Dunn, Mississippi Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer, Troop D, at 10:20 a.m. MHP was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 61 north of Merigold. A 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Robert Burden, 81, of Cleveland was traveling south in the northbound lane of traffic. It collided head on with a vehicle driven by Heng Bunnat, age unavailable, of Cleveland, which was traveling north on US 61. Both vehicles came to rest at the area of impact. Burden and his passenger J.C. Herbert, also of Cleveland, were extracted from the car but died at the scene. Bunnat, his wife and young child were all air lifted to a Memphis area hospital with life treating injury. Bunnat and his family were all wearing seat belts. As of presstime there was no information on their condition. The accident is sunder investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
