"Keep Calm and try Kids Night Out" is the slogan created by the Bolivar County Literacy Council for its new program, Kids Night Out.

This program will be on three different Friday nights, with the first being this Friday, from 6-9 p.m. at the Cleveland Depot.

The other two dates are July 12 and July 19.

"This will be a chance for the kids to learn, and give the parents a night out as well," said Audrey Pearson, CEO of the Literacy Council.

Kids would be able to participate in activities such a health and wellness activities, educational games, movies, and arts and crafts.

The cost is $25 per child and $15 for each additional sibling.

For registration information contact the Depot at 662-843-7323
