The duo shot an 18-under par 126 to win the 37th Annual CCC 4-Ball Golf Tournament for the second consecutive year.
Calhoun and Swaney shot a 64 on Saturday, which actually put them in a tie for third with Mike Sanders and Michael Sanders. On Sunday, Calhoun and Swaney turned up the heat and shot a 62 to win the tournament by five strokes over Peter Baratti and Don Currie, who shot a 66 on Saturday and a 65 on Sunday for a 131.
Geoffrey King and Michael Benjamin, who were the leaders of the tournament on Saturday with a 62, shot a 70 on Sunday to finish in a tie for third with a 132. Sanders and Sanders, who shot a 68 on Sunday, also finished up with a 132.
Andy Lee and James Glorioso took the top spot in the first flight with a 137; Doug Springer and Dave Thomas won the second flight with a 135; Steve Davis and Mark Miller finished first in the third flight with a 143; Marty Castle and Jason Harris won the fourth flight with a 145; Dave Somers and Davis Switzer took the top spot in the fifth flight with a 149; Sam Deweese and Dane Deweese finished first in the sixth flight with a 144; the team of Allen Pongetti and Gary Barbati and the team of Michael Lott and Heath Ashmore finished in a tie for the top spot in the seventh flight with a 150; the team of Frank Bender and Joseph Hegwood and the team of Richard Whitlock and Ray Darty finished in a first place tie in the eighth flight with a 158 and Jay Coon and Bill Matthews won the ninth flight with a 162.
