Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd Locke III of Greenwood announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Elizabeth Locke, to Jeffrey Nicholas Belvedresi of Cleveland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pete Belvedresi of Cleveland.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Henry Dunn and the late Mary Elizabeth Ratliff Locke and the late Mr. James Lloyd Locke Jr., all of Greenwood. She is also the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Sara Grantham Hambrick of Senatobia.

She is a 2005 graduate of Pillow Academy. She attended Delta State University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Mississippi Delta Community College and a bachelor of science in nursing from Mississippi University for Women.

She is registered nurse at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. William Louis Hays of Charleston and the late Mr. Hays and Mrs. Floyd Peter Belvedresi of Clarksdale and the late Mr. Belvedresi.

He is a 2006 graduate of Cleveland High School and a 2009 graduate of Delta State University, receiving a bachelor of commercial aviation.

While at Delta State, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order.

He served in Afghanistan as a pilot with the Medevac Unit and is a lieutenant with the Mississippi Army National Guard.

He is a pilot for the University of Mississippi.

The couple will exchange wedding vows in a 6 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at North Greenwood Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Phillips officiating. A reception will follow at the Greenwood Country Club.
