Mozell Davis Williams of Clarksdale announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Shondra Shenette Williams of Cleveland, to Owen B. Rhodes of Bloomington, Ind., son of Mattie Bell Rhodes of Jonestown and the late Owen B. Rhodes Sr.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Edgar Lee Williams of Clarksdale. She is the granddaughter of Hosie Davis of Charleston, and Edgar Williams Sr. Clarksdale and the Beulah Thurman Williams.

She graduated with an associate’s degree in education from Coahoma Community College in 1995, and from Delta State University with a business administration degree in 2004.

She is a branch manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Annie Mae Rhodes and Owen B. Rhodes of Jackson, and Matha Ewing.

He is a graduate of Coahoma Agriculture High School and the University of Phoenix.

He is a delivery driver trainer for Maines Food Distributors.

The couple will exchange vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Cleveland.
