William O. Westbrook, 92, of Coldwater, formerly of Clarksdale, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at his home in Coldwater.

Visitation was Monday, April 15, 2013, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Westbrook, retired from Cooper Tire Rubber Co., was a dedicated U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. He was an active member of VFW Post 3936 and a member of Bett Baptist Church in Coldwater.

Survivors include wife of 65 years Frances O'Neal Westbrook; son William A. "Bubba" Westbrook (Ruth) of Olive Branch; daughters; Carol Underwood (Dickie) of Cleveland, Linda Bolton (Wallace) of Coldwater and Kaye Borgognoni (Timmy) of Cordova Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents William Ernest and Izma Outzs Westbrook, son Gene Williams, two daughters Wanda Westbrook Windham and Joyce Mellon.
