Joyce Ann Williams of Horn Lake, formerly of Cleveland, and Shenar Kenyara Miller of Horn Lake, formerly of Mound Bayou, will exchange vows in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Carahills II in Gallaway, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sandy and Ora Russell of Fulton, Ky., formerly of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ophelia Williams of Cleveland, formerly of Pace, Mr. L.C. Williams of Rosedale, Mrs. Eliza Russell of Cleveland and the late Sandy Russell of Shaw.

She attended East Side High School and Murray State University in Murray, Ky., now currently enrolled at Northwest Community College in Horn Lake, where she is studying Pre-Dental Hygiene. She will later transfer to the University of Tennessee UT Health Science Center to pursue her degree in dental hygiene.

She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.

She is employed at Mack Endodontics in Memphis as a registered endo assistant.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. Ray Stidum of Mound Bayou and Mrs. Nita Miller Hooks of Pensacola., Fla., formerly of Mound Bayou. He is the grandson of the late Grover and Minnie Mae Miller of Mound Bayou.

He is a graduate of John F. Kennedy Memorial High School and Delta State University, where he received a bachelor’s and master’s in education.

He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., and is employed as an assistant principal at Kingsburg High School in Memphis, Tenn.
