Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Dalrymple of Cleveland announce the birth of their son, John Matthew Midd Dalrymple, on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale.

The baby weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

The mother is the former Corrie Hazelwood of Greenville.

Maternal grandparents are George and Beth Hazelwood of Greenville.

Maternal great-grandparents are the late George and Juanita Hazelwood and the late John and Winona Evans.

Paternal grandparents are Gary and Delois Dalrymple of Russellville, Ala.

Paternal great-grandparents are Nelson and the late Reba Dalrymple and the late James and Lois Scott.
