The Bolivar County Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire at the Happy Street Estates in Renova around 10 a.m. Thursday. BCVFD Chief Lee Tedder said the fire began in a heating unit inside an apartment. Flames were quickly contained inside one closet. There was water damage and light smoke damage. No one was injured.
