Memorial service for Annie Laurie “Dink” Morrow will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Webb Sumner United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior to service.

Mrs. Morrow died Friday, December 21, 2012, at her home. She was 86 years old.

Mrs. Morrow was a member of Webb Sumner United Methodist Church, Plantation Garden Club, 20th Century Club, First Habitat House Organization of Mississippi and an active school board member for the West Tallahatchie school district. She loved to decorate, which included providing church flowers for 50 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Hart “Choctaw” Morrow; parents, Oliver and Clara Caldwell; sister, Kathleen Townsend; and two brothers, Marion “Coot” and James Borden Caldwell.

Mrs. Morrow is survived by her daughter, Anne Hart Preus of Boyle; two sons, Robert Caldwell Morrow (Debbie) of Sumner and John William Morrow of Memphis; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thanks to their mother’s caregivers — Marilyn Washington, Shirley Burnette and Cora Macky.

Memorials may be made to the Lion’s Sight Foundation, Parkinson’s Research Foundation, Webb Sumner UMC, or charity of donor’s choice.
