Hadley, 30, said he is the first African American to integrate the staff at the Cleveland Medical Clinic.
The East Side High and Delta State University graduate is an energetic family medicine physician looking forward to offering expert care in his hometown.
"I'm very proud to be serving the community I grew up in," said Hadley. "Things have been busy and I'm thankful that I've been very well received so far."
He left the Delta to pursue his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and moved on for his residency in Mount Clemmons, Mich.
Hadley returned to the area when he began at the clinic in early October, and said the transition back has been smooth.
"Everyone has been really positive and welcoming," he said. "I'm looking forward to getting to know all my patients — some of them already treat me like I'm part of the family."
His wife of two years, Felicia, originally from Holly Springs, has also enjoyed the warm welcoming.
"I'm a country girl, so it hasn't been a big adjustment moving here," said Felicia. "Everyone in Cleveland is so nice and it's very home-like."
Felicia said she was proud of the commitment Hadley has made to his profession for the past eight years.
"He is very humble, dedicated and thorough," she said. "He works extremely hard in the presence and absence of his patients."
The couple enjoys their time together visiting with family, attending church, traveling and shopping.
"Amidst his busy schedule, he still finds time to be a strong family man," added Felecia.
As Hadley remains a devoted family man, he also strives to keep Cleveland's families happy and healthy.
His practice hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, along with a schedule of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Hadley provides a number of services and treatments for children and adults, including: basic pediatric care; flu shots; diabetes; hypertension; Pap smears; pneumonia; minor suture and laceration repair; stress; ultrasound; CT Scans; and physical therapy.
He can also offer referrals for specialist care.
Hadley is driven and prepared to be the guiding light for many patients.
"There's nothing better than seeing the look of gratitude on someone's face when I help them find out what's wrong with them — and they can tell I really care," he said. "That's what keeps me going."
