Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Morning Star Church in Gunnison. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery with the Reverend Willie Jackson officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Byas Funeral Home in Shelby.
She is survived by her sons, Kirk Scott of Gunnison, Alfred Scott of Rosedale and Edgar Scott of Tutwiler; daughter, Jewel Scott of Rosedale; brothers, Edward Scott of Chicago, Ill., and John D. Scott of St. Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
