Freddie L. Junkin, 70, of Wichita, Kan., retiree from the Internal Revenue Service, died on Saturday, January 8, 2011.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Olivet Baptist Church in Wichita, Kan.

Arrangements for graveside service for interment of ashes in Cleveland will be announced at a later date.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Hazel Junkin of Cleveland.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Faye; two daughters, Pam Hale and her husband, Ken, and their children, Jarrett and Trevor, of Shawnee, Kan., and Sandra Cain and her husband, Mark, and their children, Donovan, Mason and Nathan, of Saginaw, Texas, and Danielle Epley and great-granddaughter, Natalie, of Franklin, Kan.; two brothers, Jimmy Junkin and wife, Lillian, of Boerne, Texas, and Jerry Junkin and wife, Brenda, of Cleveland; and sister, Sammie Junkin Lewis, also of Cleveland.
