Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon, Unit 165 of the American Legion Auxiliary of Cleveland will hold a Make A Difference Day project by collecting SOCKS.

Items will be distributed to veterans in local and, possibly state, nursing homes and to the Rainbow Shelter here in Cleveland.

New socks are preferred, but slightly used ones are welcomed too.

Socks to veterans, they must have the “non-slip” finish on the bottom. Drop socks off at the parking lot of Gainspoletti and Associates on Miss. Highway 8.

If you cannot bring these on Saturday, please drop them by 205 Marler St. or call 843-4607/719-1728 for pick-up.
