The beat kept going for the Cleveland High Wildcats blanked the St. Joe Fighting Irish in soccer action Friday night in Greenville.
Cleveland improved to 6-0. The Wildcats led 3-0 at halftime.
Ben Woo, John Andrew Hawkins and Tripp Ellis scored the first half goals for Cleveland with Hawkins, Jacob Thomas and Carson Childers getting assists. In the second half, Childers and Jordan Burchfield scored the goals for Cleveland.
Goalie Trace Edwards recorded seven saves to lead the Wildcats on defense.

The Cleveland High School Lady Wildcats suffered a loss at the hands of the St. Joe Lady Fighting Irish in girls soccer action at Greenville Friday night.
Cleveland fell to 2-4.
Hallee Pinkerton scored Cleveland’s only goal with Emily Wies getting the assist. Goalie Bretlyn Phillips recorded six saves for Cleveland.
Both Cleveland teams will hit the road to Terry to play Terry High School with the girls game set to start first at 5:30 p.m.
