Around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 12, an officer patrolling the 900 block of Church Avenue heard gunshots, saw a subject run and jump into a grey colored car.

"He caught up with the car and a short time later the car pulled over to the side of the road. One subject jumped out and ran," said Cleveland Police Chief Buster Bingham in a previous interview with The Bolivar Commercial.

At the time, CPD arrested Cordarious Walker , 31, Jayvious Johnson, 21, and Tavoris Marshall, 26, all Cleveland residents.

The three men were charged with aggravated assault.

It was a few days later that CPD located and arrested Gorman.
