Ozzie Talley of Kankakee, Ill., formerly of Mound Bayou died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, Ill.

Funeral service was held at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Kankee, Ill., on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Pastor Howard Willis officiated.

Mrs. Talley was born on October 5, 1946, in Beulah to Joseph and Princella Campbell. She married Charles Talley in 1965 and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Charles (Delores) Talley of Arizona; four daughters, Valerie (Keith) Tucker of Kankee, Orlanda Carrother of Arizona, Betrilda (Lenard) Calmes of Texas, and Lynett (Larry) Alslon of Arkansas; grandmother, Martha Turner of Cleveland; sisters, Ora L. Bolden of Mound Bayou, Lisa (Larry) James of South Carolina, Denise Johnson of South Carolina and Jennifer Norris of Tennessee, Undraye (Barricke) Bennett of Milwaukee, Wis.; brothers, Joseph (Jennifer) Campbell of Horn Lake, Robert Hacklen of Texas, Robert (Cynthia) Hacklen of Texas, Ward (Renita) Hacklen of South Carolina; brother-in-law, Herman Turner of Rosedale; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Princella Campbell, a sister, Angie R. Turner, and a brother, Joseph Campbell II.
