Lillian “Sissie” Aycox Ware, 74, of Cleveland died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Cleveland Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Holtz officiating. Burial will follow in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville.

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Lillian was born to William Port Aycox and Sallie Redden Aycox, July 7, 1938, in Gunnison. She married the late Paul Ware in Rosedale on May 5, 1963.

She loved spending time with her family, from fishing with her husband, coaching her children in sports with the Cleveland Park Commission, to playing board games with her grandchildren. Lillian was the true center of the family. She had many friends and loved to travel. She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Cleveland, MS.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Ware, her parents William Port and Sallie Redden Aycox, and two brothers, Porter Aycox and Alton Aycox.

Survivors include one son Paul David Ware Jr. (Cindy) of Boyle; two daughters, Natalie Harkins (Larry) of Cleveland and Paula Ware of Biloxi; one sister Lucille Gammill of Lawrence; and four grandchildren, Matthew Warren (Jamie), Brian Howell, Holly Harkins and Brandon Ware.

Pallbearers will be James Aycox, Stacie Aycox, Frank Beach, Jeff Fleming, Shawn Harris, Brad Howell, Josh Mitchell and Jared Moseley.
