A native of Leland, Manning graduated from Washington School, Greenville, and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Masters of Business Administration degree from Delta State University.
Most recently, she was affiliated with Regions Bank, Greenville, where she served in the bank’s branch system.
Prior to that, Manning was employed by AmSouth Bank, Greenville, for seven years.
Manning is a past president of the Leland Chamber of Commerce and former member of United Way’s Washington County Allocation Committee.
She is a member of the Greenville Rotary Club and a member of Leland Presbyterian Church.
The daughter of Don and Kathleen Jacobs of Mulcahy, Manning is married to Ray Manning, a longtime resident of Leland. The Mannings have two children: Mary Manning Venable (Dustin) of Brandon; and Donald Manning, a student at Mississippi State University. They also have two granddaughters, Katie Ann and Lilli Venable of Brandon.
