Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Mound Bayou with Rev. Earl Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Morton Cemetery in Mound Bayou.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Byas Funeral Home in Cleveland.
Survivors include her husband Charles Morton of Mound Bayou; son Charles Hooper of Raleigh, N.C.; daughters, Inetha Morton of Cleveland, Qunatessa and Tamika Morton of Mound Bayou, Altarmease Hooper of Gary, Ind., and Shasheena Hooper of New Orleans; brothers, Ellery Watson and Larry Fields of Mound Bayou and Willie Fields Jr. of Texas; sisters, Debora Fields of Mound Bayou, Sharon Fields of Minneapolis, Minn., and Beverly Fields of St. Paul, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
