James Glorioso receives promotion

Cleveland State Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of James Glorioso to senior vice president and credit administrator.

Glorioso, a 1991 graduate of Bayou Academy in Cleveland, earned an associate of arts in business administration from Mississippi Delta Community College in 1993.

He then earned a bachelor of business administration in finance at Delta State University in 1995.

Glorioso went on to graduate from the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt University in 2004 and also the Southeastern School of Advanced Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt University in 2005.

He is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

Glorioso joined the lending staff of Cleveland State Bank in 2009 as a vice president. He brings 18 years of banking experience to his new position.

Glorioso, who grew up in Gunnison, is married to the former Tammy Mallette of Cleveland. The couple has two children, Emma, 9, and Layton, 5. The Glorioso’s are members of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland.

With a deep and ongoing commitment to the community, Glorioso is a lifetime member of the Delta State University Alumni Association.

He is an active member and past president of both the Cleveland-Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce and the Cleveland Noon Lions Club.

Glorioso has also served the chamber as treasurer, vice president of Member Services, and as president of the Economic Development Foundation.

Additionally, he has served on the Finance Council and Parish Council at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland.
