Gov. Phil Bryant presented a $1 million check to the Cleveland Music Foundation today as the first installment for the establishment of the GRAMMY® Museum Mississippi in Cleveland. The presentation took place in the Hugh Ellis Walker Alumni House on the campus of Delta State University. At the presentation were (from left) Calvin Dye, Jim Tims, Cleveland Mayor Billy Nowell, Bolivar County Supervisor Andrew Williams, Nan Sanders, Lucy Janoush, Sen. Willie Simmons, Bryant, Rep. Tommy Taylor and Sen. Buck Clarke.
