Willie Wren stacks old tires, which have been brought to Cleveland Public Works during Earth Day Saturday. Wren said he had already filled one large trailor and more tires were coming in as Bolivar Countians participated in the recycling event. Sites at Cleveland High School, East Side High School and the Cleveland Medical Mall, where public work trucks were parked, included paint cans, televisions, boxes and televisions. Plastic, paper, boxes and steel and aluminum cans may be recycled on a daily basis in Cleveland at the bins next to the depot on the Greenstrip and at public works.
