The Gamma Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi is currently taking applications for the 2010 Cleveland Christmas Parade scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on December 2.

The theme of the parade is “A Delta Winter Wonderland.”

Floats entered in the parade will be judged according to construction and decoration and in keeping with the overall theme of the parade. Prizes will be awarded as follows: First Prize - $125; Second Prize - $100; and Third Prize - $75. Awards for float entries will be mailed after the parade to the organization representative.

All registration must be received no later than November 23. This deadline will insure proper recognition of all organizations in the newspaper and to make sure the parade line-up is accurate.

Floats should be at the line-up site no later than 4 p.m. on December 2. All other units are to line up at 4:30 p.m. on December 2. This line-up will be announced later in The Bolivar Commercial.

ALL participants not in the line-up in their designated location by 5:15 p.m. will not be allowed to participate.

Beta Sigma Phi sponsors the Santa Claus float, so no other floats should feature Santa. Throwing candy, favors, coupons, or advertising items from the floats is forbidden.
