Beulah Myers Conner Smith, 98, of Cleveland died on Monday, September 16, 2013, at the Bolivar Medical Center Long Term Care.

She was born on June 20, 1915, to Lonzo and Ollie (Hall) Myers in North Carolina. She was former factory worker in New Orleans before moving to the Delta where she volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Avis Lavern Howard; and a brother Chester Myers.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013, from 1010:45 a.m. at Cleveland Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the New Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Jimmy Breland will officiate the service.

Beulah is survived by husband of 13 years, Jimmy Smith of Cleveland; son, A.C. Boyd of West Point; three sisters, Birdie Mae Boyd of Clinton, Margarette Vernon of Greenville and Wilma West of Meridian. She also leaves a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
