That’s exactly what event organizers have planned for this coming Saturday at its “Saturdays in the Park Fall Festival,” scheduled for 2-4 p.m. Saturday on the Delta State University Quadrangle.
There will game booths and activities spread throughout the quad for K4–4th graders to enjoy.
Arts and crafts will also accompany the day. Each child that participates will be able to leave with their creation.
Snacks and prizes will be provided to all participants.
Parents can join in the afternoon’s activity with a Poker Walk. With each lap every walker completes, he/she can select a card at random from a deck of playing cards. At the conclusion of the walk, the “best poker hand” will be awarded a prize.
