The following are the minimum requirements for the position: Executive Director is a full-time position appointed by the Regional Commission of Sharkey, Issaquena, Bolivar, and Washington Counties. The Executive Director must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in a mental health or related field with a minimum of three(3) years administrative experience in programs related to mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance abuse services and/or programs. Must have skills in program planning; grants management and development; knowledge of fiscal management; skill in personnel selection and management; skill and experience in working with community agencies, administrative and advisory boards; and experience in working with local, state and federal legislative matters.
